Donald A. Koontz D.D.S.

“Dr. Don” has been at North Creek Dental Care for over fifteen years and genuinely loves working with his great staff and great patients in South Everett. He attended Pepperdine University as a undergraduate and then entered the University of Washington School of Dentistry which he graduated from in 1992. He has been married to Lisa for over eighteen years and together they have four children ranging from five to fifteen years. He is very involved with civic groups and church activities and has volunteered with Northwest Medical Teams which provides free dental care to our local low-income neighbors. His hobbies include reading, running and cycling. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association and is committed to learning about new techniques and materials in order to provide his patients with the best that dentistry has to offer.

Suzanne Blackie

Suzanne (Sue) Blackie wears many different hats at North Creek Dental Care. She is our office manager and is responsible for scheduling appointments, making financial arrangements, dealing with insurance issues, and many other duties at our office. She is an expert in researching dental benefits and has over ten years of experience as an office manager. Prior to working in the dental field, she worked as a registered nurse. Sue is very active in the Women’s Auxiliary of the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars and recently won a national award for raising money for cancer research. Way to go Sue!

Rochelle Gray R.D.H.

Rochelle is our dedicated registered dental hygienist and has been at North Creek Dental Care for over twenty years! Rochelle graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University in Spokane, WA. She is very skilled at patient education and desires that her patients achieve the best oral health possible. She and her husband Dan are long-time residents of Mukilteo and are passionate boating enthusiasts!

Patti Roy

Patti Is a dental assistant and has been at North Creek Dental Care for over seventeen years. She is very skillful at assisting Dr. Koontz and at making patients feel relaxed and comfortable. Patti and her husband Randy have three teenage daughters and stay very busy with family activities! She and her husband enjoy fishing and crabbing in the Puget Sound.

Joyce Schulz

Joyce Schulz is a dental assistant at North Creek Dental Care and has been with us for over three years. Joyce has been a dental assistant for over twenty years and has a great rapport with everyone she encounters. One of Joyce’s skills is being a great organizer. In fact she is such a good organizer that she works part-time as a professional organizer! Joyce has a son, Alex, and enjoys walking, gardening and vacationing in Hawaii.
